All Kitu platforms offer interfaces which ensure control, security and interconnection between applications and devices. Citadel offers its interface Northgate, while Crosslink provides an interface for Convoy.
Kitu NorthGate is a RESTful API of the Citadel server enabling applications to manage and control smart DER devices.
The API main functions are:

provisioning of smart devices and/or aggregators, moves, adds, and changes

provisioning of grid topology, moves, adds, and changes
-
access to metrology data for all devices

definition of device controls, curves, and programs

reporting on events
The current API version (1.1.6) conforms with IEEE 2030.5-2018 protocol requirements, the latest published Common Smart Inverter Profile (CSIP v2.1), and all the functionalities required by California Rule 21 for phases I, II and III.
